Connect to Shares with WebDAV or SFTP

Connect to Data Volumes on TRWINDATA - Optional Methods

These will be phased out later this year.

There are alernate methods to connect to the TRWINDATA shares however these are no longer necessary in most cases and will eventually be phased out. These include:

Web Browser via WebDAV - to be phased out

• provides a listing of the content of the volumes and allows for downloading. Does NOT require a VPN connection.

Windows Mapped Drives via WebDAV - to be phased out

• provides File-Explorer access to the TRWIN volumes.  Does NOT require a VPN connection.

Secure FTP - to be phased out

• provides file-transfer between the TRWIN file-shares and you computer.   REQUIRES a VPN connection.

Preferred methods to connect

You should now be using VPN  and making connections as described at:

• Using an off-site Windows system with the Remote Desktop client 

or

• Use your personal Windows PC or laptop or a TRIUMF-owned Windows PC or laptop to interact with various TRIUMF computing resources such as Agresso, Docushare, Internal Web Pages, or TRWINDATA or Admin shared folders.
