Running jobs on TRCOMP

All computers in the trcomp cluster share general-purpose file-storage.
- do not run I/O intensive jobs
CPU and Memory
The owning groups set the usage policy of their own machines.
trcomp01 is primarily for interactive use and available to all people involved with TRIUMF.
- do not run jobs that consume a large fraction of the memory
- use a niceness value of 15 or more for long-running CPU intensive jobs
- do not run more than three CPU-intensive jobs simultaneously
