Using WebDAV in MS-Windows
Root certficate of the TRIUMF Certificate-Authority
On MS-Windows, the WebDAV client is built-in to Windows-Explorer and uses the same trusted certficates as Internet Explorer. So even if you don't use Internet Explorer for regular web-browsing, you should still use it to import the TRIUMF-CA root-certificate. If you do not import the TRIUMF-CA root certificate, a security alert will be displayed when you first connect to the site.
WebDAV Configuration
On all versions of MS-Windows, the following settings will be used.
- Internet or network address: https://<site-name>.triumf.ca/dav
- Username: <Your TRIUMF e-mail account-name>
- Password: <Your TRIUMF e-mail password>
Windows XP
From the Start menu choose My Network Places
Click Add a network Place. This will open wizard called "Add a network wizard". Click Next.
Choose another network location then Next and enter the WebDAV settings as above.
Windows Vista and Windows 7
From the Start Menu choose Computer.
In the right-hand column, right-click the background and select Add a Network Location.

In Windows 7, you must install the TRIUMF root certificate into the Windows trusted-authority list per IE7 Installation. Otherwise WebDAV will fail
